Aren't copyright laws international? That's why there's the interpol warning as well as FBI (unless i'm crazy). And a country such as New Zealand, which is so tightly wrapped up with the UK and therefore the US, is not going to deny an extradition request for something like this.

It's not about violence, it's about flight risk. Being in a foreign country, the US must have expected that they would try to run, and New Zealand must have agreed to deny bail...
