That’s fine, because F1 isn’t NASCAR. F1 is a constructors’ championship as much as it is a drivers’ championship, and that’s because the teams each build their own car from the ground up. The engineers matter as much as the driver.

A 1993 Civic DX had an MSRP of $12,200 according to KBB (not sure which body style). That is $25,500 or about the MSRP of a Civic Sport. And of course the 2023 Civic Sport is a much better (safer, bigger, more tech, etc) than a 1993 (new) Civic.

Considering automakers killed off all their subcompacts (and compacts, and some all cars), it’s not surprising that average prices swelled from $36k to $47k.  Oh, and killing off the cheap cars happened during Trumps reign. So if conservatives cared about prices, they would’ve complained then.

it allows the city government to tell drivers to shut the fuck up about traffic. “oh you’re stuck in a traffic jam? then take the train/bus/bike/any other way to get around.”

This, and forget finding street parking. Hoboken is a mess. We’d have zero drowning deaths in pools too if all pools were filled in with sand.

but the survivability of an impact balloons to more than 93 percent when the car is moving at 20 miles per hour.”

I think you’re missing the biggest reason for fewer pedestrian fatalities: the fact that the whole of Hoboken is completely gridlocked virtually 24/7 thanks to these changes.  So cars aren’t going fast enough to hurt someone.

No doubt - I tow a bigger boat than that with my nearly 30y0 Land Rover Disco.

A lot of truck for a small boat.

Can I get 10k off with the stock rims?

It would be easy to tell if the seller had included even a single under-hood shot in the ad...”

Cool story bro.

Meh, I think they are cute in a VERY 80's way. They were utter crap, but certainly one of GM’s better efforts of the time.

First off, let me say that knowing the “elderly” people that I do, who are never shy about doing a burnout or two and can afford the tires to do so, buying from the little old lady from Pasadena is not a guarantee that the car hasn’t been flogged like a red haired stepchild. The difference is that they will be more

Too bad about GM’s stance regarding Carplay on their EV’s.

Aces! Well done. Best SEO article I've read in a very long time.

They aren’t saying you can’t do something with it. They are saying that they (GM) aren’t then going to be compelled to offer you coverage.

I’ve been living with my brown Toyota Camry for so long, I bypassed the whole “mid-life crisis” car. I would cry if it got totalled because my plan is to drive it until I die, but if I had to replace it, I would get the defacto 40-something-year-old-wanting-to-be-20-again car: a Jeep Wrangler.

Please don’t encourage this.

How about banning brodozer lifts in general? And slamming too. And all the rest of the homebrew idiocy you see on the roads.
