They are basically a less organized version of the SA. They are doing everything the SA did before 1933, just without a proper command structure and brown shirts.

$2,500 today is like $1,000 was 10 years ago.  It’s about rock-bottom for a functioning car with no major issues.

Eh, nobody is resto-modding K5s and then using them for the purpose that they were originally made for. It’s a statement piece, like a brodozer but (in my opinion) cooler. You do it for the nostalgia and to have something different from the run-of-the-mill Range Rovers and Cayennes. You do this electric version simply

I’ll also mention I went to a nice tan to boring black.

Does it not speak for itself?!

I’m one of the NP’ers. The price is market accurate and that’s how I vote. If you want an NSX, it’s gonna cost you roughly $120k. There were a few that are a few grand cheaper, but all NSX’s are within 5% of $120k or higher.

Agreed. You can find similar examples with less miles for the same price or even lower. Also, this has already had at least three owners - the carfax is from Sept 2019 - this guy may have been the fourth.

The vehicle you’re describing exists, and it’s called the Chevy Astro. They are available with all wheel drive, they have great visibility, a sliding door, and seats befitting your comfort loving parents. If you really feel inclined to do so, you could absolutely add long travel suspension.

Genesis is so good at taking the best current trends and shapes, and making them their own. The rear end of the GV80 somehow looks like a Bentayga without looking like a sad Chinese rip-off.

Hey thanks! Great seeing another young Black man just like me. All I can say is keep at it. You’re needed. Or maybe you’ll end up in a gig like this thats just as rewarding.

Welcome dude! Great seeing a black writer here! Black student studying EECS for automotive eng in college and have been on here for quite a while so when you talk about reading a bunch of articles and magazines when you were younger and planning your own car company, that’s basically me right now and a few years

Why is it so ugly?

Ugh, why do concepts always have idiotic Hot Wheels/Tonka wheels on them? It makes the whole thing look juvenile, and detracts from the rest of the design, parts of which might actually make the cut.

No.

Checked the Carfax. This accrued 10k miles in the first year. During that first year it went into service 5 times, 3 of which were to check the Airbag systems.

$5 says the odometer broke somewhere around 2003 right before the 2nd owner sold it and was fixed recently to pass inspection.

I’m extremely suspicious of a 20 year old car with mileage this low and a beat up interior. Something doesn’t add up here.

The drivers seat and arm rest would like a word with the odometer reading.

Good points. I also think this is going to be a huge hit for Genesis.

3rd row, get a minivan!
