I’ve seen a good number of these new Z4's, and they are a little distinctive but the Supra has *way more* of what I’d consider ‘Presence’ than a Z4. The Z4 is just another BMW amoung 1000's — although it is a *nice* BMW. The Supra is unique.
At some point, I guess insurance will become part of the ‘solution’ for fast and heavy EVs.
I still don’t understand the use of the third row — I guess there are a few years between car seats and teenage years where you might be able to stuff a few kid’s friends back there for that one time you’re driving another parent’s kids somewhere...
I think my eGolf lease in 2016 was ~$2000 down + ~$110/month. Now *that* was a deal. Of course, it was also a “compliance car” so maybe it’s not a great comparison.
It would be interesting to see how much time is split between traditional Youtube vs. Youtube Shorts per user, and versus age.
nice deal!
Why is it that some old men (not sure about women?) get loud, obnoxious, and unfiltered when they get older? I have been around some old men who led very respectable careers as college professors and would make public comments about women, to their faces, that made me CRINGE.
I totally agree their excuse is total BS, but I live in the heart of silicon valley — really about walking distance to Apple’s “Infinite Loop” campus and the internet here is total crap. I’ve got friends in AL, NC, and MA with symmetrical fiber connections — here we choose between Comcast at like 1000/15 or ATT DSL…
So under this proposed rule, you get your +10 mph. Personally, I’m not as concerned with people doing 85mph in a 65. What I’d love is to stop the idiots who want to do 45 in a residential 25.
I see a day in the near future when all Lamborghinis are just Porsches with a body kit and ECU flash, with the occasional >$2M garage-queen-hypercar that is designed & built by a third party.
I guess Meta has browser fingerprinting tools embedded in most websites these days, too.
wow that’s impressive -- I guess they roll the tax credit into the lease. I wonder how expensive the buy-out is at the end of the lease if you were to keep the vehicle.
sensory overload
No, it helps Jalopnik drive more clicks. Post that guys face / name, have your article pop up on a news aggregator site, and you’ll get a few curious people out of the >200M followers who click thru to Jalopnik and see some ads!
+1 Kinja is barely operable in Firefox and Safari. Chrome blows b/c Google sucks ... sucks your personal information from everywhere online to track/monetize you.
Yeah I got the first 25K miles of charging for free from work, but unfortunately my new job no longer offers that perk.
What’s the CO2 emission generated by cooling / operating a Las Vegas casino during the summer? (I’d pick a cruise over Vegas any day... especially one of the “Tour Antartica” or “Tour 4x European Ports” type cruises, although I’ve only ever been on a cruise ship once.)
Both practical and boring, perfect! ...right?
