Is that different than the orange color available on the GR86 and Tacoma? (Maybe the Tacoma doesn’t offer it any more since it has Electric Lime now?)

I wish some $100B+ person would build up a personal fleet, get some romantic notions about 18th century pirates, and start sinking these yachts!

Give Putin a break! He’s been so distracted by pushing people out of windows in Russia, trying not to get coup’ed by his pet rabid mercenary, and watching Russians get slaughtered in Ukraine that he wasn’t able to add in his personal ultra-tacky touches:

+1

Go buy the Supra with MT & get it wrapped in the color of your choice, should be easy to do for $70K.... right? Or are there dealer markups on Supras still?

Yeah but if *this guy* drove to the station where the cops’s buddies worked, then he’d probably get some drugs ‘found’ by a dog walking past his car after the other officers realized it’s their buddy doing the tailgating.

WTF

The driver also gets a 3D telescope display

Seems pretty excessive to say, “or death” when the article states that no deaths have occurred. Perhaps you’ve got an axe to grind, or copy/pasting from a source with a bit of bias?

From what I read, the 3rd row of a Honda Pilot has less rear leg room than a Kia Rio. I guess it’s workable, but not great for comfort and probably not convenient to enter/exit.

That’s the beauty of the Prius — you can rely on gas when the EV runs out so you don’t need to have a charger at the little league practice field.

Why does Polestar not offer any real colors? I know they have a dull blue — I think it’s the same blue as a 2012 Volvo XC60 I owned years ago. Can we please get an official bright Polestar color, maybe even if it’s only available on the top end model?

I know the L2 chargepoint stations I use at work will definitely not be changing connectors in a year or two. I’d bet it will take forever for all the L2 Chargepoint stations to switch connectors — they can’t even be bothered repairing ones with a broken locking tab in most places.

I think it would be more accurate to see Explorer vs. a Traverse racing around an oval at ~110 mph.

In a market (US) where dealers have practically eliminated color choice and manufacturers have condensed all electronic/interior control functionality into a single custom screen, the ability to customize your car at that level will never happen.  It’s a nice thought, though.

I used the Model S as an example b/c there really aren’t many 10-yr old EV’s to talk about yet. I do drive a Bolt in preference to a Model 3 already, although I haven’t driven a Model S since about 2015 so it’s hard to compare.

One of my coworkers towed their 60K miles, 2017 Volvo XC90 into the dealer recently and was told that it needs a new engine. They quoted $22K for the replacement. I guess Volvo cars are also obsolete after their warranty is up?

If you were sitting somewhere in Europe, have a low-ish fixed-income, have been dependent on Russian natural gas, and then all the governments start blocking gas imports due to Ukraine, what do you do? If the governments didn’t subsidize fossil fuel, then you’d choose between heat and food and maybe freeze or starve
