No doubt that CO2 is great for certain types of life, and that certain types of life on earth would thrive in a higher CO2 environment. Unfortunately us humans expect the planet to keep behaving exactly like it has for the past few thousand years of recorded history.

What vehicle do you use to carry 7 people regularly?

I’m not here to debate the merits of a small sedan vs. a small CUV, which apparently is the axe you want to grind with comments like “it tricks people like you into being happy to pay extra”. I’d take a Mazda 3 any day over a CX-30, but I’d prefer a Miata.

I just don’t think there will be a lot of room to develop new tunes on an ICE engine. They know what the engine is capable of at manufacturing. I doubt they’ll be able to keep adding another 20+hp per year by discovering some new air/fuel/spark setting they hadn’t check yet.

Leaded fuel had to go for public safety reasons — it was obvious and had SERIOUS impacts to public health. People who don’t have their heads buried in the sand now realize CO2 emitted by ICE is a major public safety/health concern now with climate change. It’s going to be difficult, but the government needs to mandate…

yup, I’ve been driving this exact car since 2019 for school dropoff / work commute. Since I charge for free at work, I literally only pay for insurance.

So it looks like a 2018-2021 Mustang Ecoboost tune currently costs $735 from Ford.  Would you really be willing to subscribe to this at like $25/month?

I don’t think this counts for *most* schools, but it definitely counts for schools with competitive division-I football programs.

If he’s driving a F350 as a paid endorsement from Ford, I guess it wouldn’t be using state plates — probably dealer / manufacturer plates.
