I’d bet that 99% of these MT buyers would have gone with a different brand (VW?) if the Integra had no MT.
+1 to the lease comment. I wonder how many dealerships will be building creative leases around this.
It’s hard to compare death rates (deaths/vehicle mile) since you’d need to compare versus (at least) other modern $50k+ plus vehicles. You might even be better to compare against Audi A4/A6/A8, BMW 3/5/7, MB, Cadillac,Volvo, etc since Teslas are typically considered luxury-class vehicles.
1. It’s pretty wild how they can just switch a design from FWD to RWD and not have to do a major vehicle redesign... the power of electrons, I guess!
This may not be an issue in a year or so -- Manchin is currently way behind in (very) early polling. It may be that being mostly R, but claiming to be a D while living in Trump Country has caught up to him.
It seems like permanently disabling a sunroof with some kind of sealant / epoxy, or even welding a metal panel over the hole and buying a new headliner wouldn’t be too hard (although repainting the roof would cost a bit) ??
Seems like cargo ships are:
The EX30 isn’t an especially large SUV

No, obviously not. I’m just seeing their name and their previous work.
Wow that’s insane — all the paint colors are locked behind option packages that are $8k or $17k or $33k, and they still want to upcharge you $1k for premium headlights, $1k for sunroof, $500 for park assist, etc.
Seems like a great alternative for an Acura MDX, Volvo XC90, Genesis / Hyundia / Kia full-size SUV. They’re unfortunately going to run into difficulty with the buyers who want the semi-premium badge, though. Hopefully Mazda can make this leap -- I’ve always been a big Mazda fan.
Yeah I’m still confused about this -- either the reservations evaporated, or the people are waiting for the $90K base model and they’re just building the $140K+ higher end models?
Yeah I’ve found a few times right around major life events that I’ll buy the “toy” that I previously wanted due to more income or a special deal, and then not have the time / desire to use it anymore after the life event.
It would have been more exciting if they’d gotten 1000hp from the original 2.9L V8! (lol)
I’ve seen a couple European websites that list a smaller battery option with ~215 miles of range. Maybe the small battery is Europe-only? If so it would be pretty impressive if Volvo sells a $35K vehicle with the large battery.
EX30 offers an estimated 275 miles on a charge
“No established test procedures” ?!
