True, but I’m just trying to say that a bit of cheap preventative maintenance now will keep the engine from being destroyed in the future.

Mercedes, here’s a maintenance opportunity to keep this engine going for another 200K miles.  These things are pretty bulletproof ...

Does it come with the original Firestone tires? This is the *only* way to drive an Explorer to get the real vintage feel.... including being ejected from your vehicle during a roll-over after the tire fails.

I dunno bruh, first thing I’m gonna do when I get my Tundra is replace that sissy pink colored coolant. Damn that’s like for girls.

You get a star for “free vaccine in Alabama”

I saw one of these on the road yesterday — it was right behind me, so I slowed down a bit to get it to pass me. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get a very good photo, but it’s a nice looking car.

In some states with better consumer protection laws people are definitely getting buy-backs. I’m about to start the buy-back process myself if figure out what I should get instead of the Bolt...

With the high demand on cars these days, I haven’t seen used Bolt prices drop much.

Really? I guess it depends on where you test it...

Serious question: does a 400hp/415lb-ft 3.0 V6tt make this vehicle a more capable off-roader than the existing 330hp/415 lb-ft 2.7 V6?

I’d say that Jeeps are much more likely to be daily driven with modifications that make it *much* less safe to be in or around vs. a sports car.

Seriously?!?!

A performance optioned C8 corvette would easily match a GT-R, no?

True.

Newsflash: not a single corporation cares one whit about their customers beyond maximizing corporate profit. GM (and most/all car companies) will accept solutions to this risk “equation” that allow their customers to die.

I’m exactly in the same boat with a “2019.5" Bolt. I also live in California. I’m probably going to push for a buyback because I do not have a good place to park my car outside (and no charging overnight is a pain in the ass).

How does it compare to a Civic Si?

If it’s at the AMOS conference, it’s almost certainly not related to a new launch platform. That conference is very much about *observing* man-made things in space. Perhaps they’re going to pitch a private-sector space-traffic-control organization? Or maybe they’re building some kind of satellite?

Yeah these are just going to return to their pre-pandemic pricing eventually along side all the off-lease Leafs, i3's, etc. I seriously doubt you’ll be able to buy a 2018 Bolt with a new battery pack for $8k in a couple years.
