I look at her testimony and just wow......

That’s an awesome graphic because it is 100% true.

Its because its not a crime to be offensive or vukgar.

This guy should also sue Jezebel and the author of this hit piece.

Potty Mouth is not harassment, no matter how Regressive you might be. Sorry. Not liking the way someone’s speech doesn’t give anyone the right to suppress it. That’s why he won the case.

Her “fear” (of which the evidence clearly demonstrated she felt none and he posed no threat of any sort) is not grounds for legal action to silence someone. She’s likely going to face some VERY serious criminal penalties in the form of a counter-suit for abusing the criminal justice system in Canada with it’s

If she’d have blocked him and left it that instead of constantly mentioning him behind her imaginary safe space block wall, smearing his good name over a political disagreement in such a way that it kept showing up in his mentions then he wouldn’t have had a reason to keep mentioning her to his followers. Not to

Except there was no harassment, legal or otherwise. In fact, she was HORRIBLY abuse towards many people over the past few years, a fact that was used to crucify her in court. She was having a disagreement with someone who originally started out as a blinded-by-belief feminist over the “punch Anita Sarkeesian game”

Oh I hope he sues. There are writers on this very website that have gotten away with far more egregious shit than twitter beefing, and the shit this guy got put through was insane.

...aaaaaaaand....

You should actually look at the case. These women called this man a pedophile (with no proof), he lost his job (as a graphic designer) and these women were just as aggressive and in the wrong as he was. There’s absolutely no reason he should have been convicted of jail time. The transcripts show just how fucking

Thank you for being the voice of reason. Here was an excerpt that stands out

They also, according to the judge, failed to prove that Elliott himself had sent the tweets in question.

I haven’t been following this case at all, so can someone provide examples of his tweets or is there a place you can read them? Now I’m curious to know what he was saying.

That hurt my feelings. You’ll be hearing from my lawyers soon.

Thank God that the case turned out as it did. Seriously. I am glad that he was found not guilty.

You do know this is Jezebel, right?

While I don’t think what he did was good, right, or moral, based on the letter of the law, I agree that it wasn’t criminal. Also, there were a few things that the judge listed as reasons he found the women did not really fear him that you’ve somehow failed to mention in your article.

Good for him. Poor guy lost 3 years of his life over an internet argument. lol

“It’s almost impossible to prove a defamation case,”....unless you are Hulk Hogan
