All of which are found on preset paths with nothing hidden, hell the vendors for furniture and blueprints are literally standing next to you when you land in most places. You can not explore the islands beyond those walkways, and even with that as a huge concession on movement your guy still controls like crap.

But there is basically no reason to do any exploring on foot. The on foot controls are floaty, you can't climb, jump, sprint, or swim. Unless you have a treasure map for a particular pirate hideout there is nothing of value to find.

You forgot to mention why Bessel-3b is so awesome which is how long an hour is on it. If I remember correctly it’s around 60 hours for each hour. It’s a very very quick way to build up resources, XP, and even cash if you don’t mind doing a haul to a vendor.

Ah yes it’s such a failure that it still maintains a pretty good sized playerbase on just Steam alone ( ignores it’s existence on game pass PC AND console where it stays near the top of most played games). Which is a hell of a thing for a single player game to do this long after release.
