I figured this was the main reason MS left the PS deal in place because they can just offer it on gamepass. Hell given when it will be released it's possie you could play it in an Xbox through the cloud version of gamepass.

If you have a Series X this is not aimed at you, like at all. You have the console why would you stream it instead of just playing it on your console in the first place?

I second Observation. It is n awesome puzzle/exploration game and I was convinced I would hate it. I didn’t get the whole walking simulator thing, but this tells a compelling story with just enough puzzles to keep it interesting without being too difficult.

I would say that budget accounts for some of it. This wasn’t a title with a CoD style budget but a more modest one. Another problem is the always online component in a game they still insist is not a live service game and can be played solo....despite all evidence to the contrary

At this point I’m not sure what reason there is to pay for just xbox live gold. Like even if you paid for a bunch of just Gold in advance you can upgrade to game pass and convert every month you have left to ultimate for a total of $1.
