True, but I now personally know eight people who’ve died of COVID-19, and only half of them were old and/or had comorbidities. The rest were younger, healthy; their main risk factor being healthcare workers in NYC during the height of the outbreak there. I take nothing for granted with this virus any more.

This would explain why suddenly all the Q-idiots and Trumpers on my feeds are sharing memes with “Save and respost!” as captions.

What worries me more about Trump dying are all the center-right Republicans and independents who are currently planning to vote for Biden would suddenly switch right back to the “safe” conservative choice if Pence were POTUS.

Wow, can’t wait for this to out all the people who’s Instagram accounts are under a stage or performing name to their real Facebook name via phone number correlation and friend suggestions.

I haven’t received anything from Amazon via the USPS in years. Their ubiquitous delivery vans are trundling around absolutely everywhere around these parts, with the occasional assist from UPS.

If I ever get to have parties again, I will look into those.

Depends on your state. Mine is one of the twenty or so states (many of which are important swing states) that has no official party registration. They have no idea who you’ve voted for in the past, unless you actually tell them.

Honestly, Beatsaber is great as a party game (like you said, pre-COVID). We’ve had many a fun party, taking turns playing, while others cheered and/or jeered.

My first ever handle (yes, we called screennames that back in the 80s) was the one I used on the many local BBSs that started popping up when I was in middle school, including the one I ran myself, using my parents’ Tandy 1000 (PC clone) the second phone line, and QuickBBS.

Ugh...a friend of mine’s father is still sharing this shit on Facebook (with all his boomer friends piling on). When I countered with articles and tweets from law enforcement showing it was all nonsense, they just came back at me with claims that was “the deep state” covering it up, and they they all “know the truth.”

Damn, and I though my Elite: Dangerous rig was getting out of hand.
