I was in a Hilton in Miami just last week, and the remotes let me change the input to an empty HDMI port to use my Apple TV.  I’ve not come across any hotels (and I travel extensively) that restrict this.  Maybe I’ve just been lucky?

This article reminds me of an excellent book I read over 25 years ago, Camelot 30k, by Robert L. Forward. Great story of a mission to an Oort cloud object after making contact with the locals. Highly recommend it.

I always ask the person behind me if they mind if I recline a little bit. Rarely does anyone say no. I don’t even bother asking (or trying to recline) when it’s another Overly Tall person like myself, as I totally understand their pain.

Just measured for myself. Back-of ass to front of knee is 30", and it’s 28" from the floor to top of my kneecap (and I’m not even wearing shoes at the moment).

The FDMs are only Ender 3s, but I paid attention to ensuring all the rails were square and belts the correct tension during assembly. The default test print (a little puppy dog they send on the USB stick) came out smooth and lovely, so I just ran from there! Been printing happily since, with only a couple failures in…

Hmmm...we are on the ball with work ergonomics as far as office equipment goes. I’m going to have to pursue this.
