You’re totally reasonable on this one. In the battle between sugar and vinegar, sugar/ketchup will always take the youthful lead, but age and improved palettes typically push the needle towards the vinegary versatility of mustard.

No reason to do it the real way for most applications. Throw some sugar on the onions, cook over med-high until a fond develops in the pan. Then deglaze and repeat until they’ve hit the appropriate point. Ends up with 90% of the delicious for like 10% of the work.

This is correct, my daily commute goes by my city’s largest hospitals, so having ambulances with lights on is a fairly routine experience. its a high volume area and they always come to a stop to, seemingly, ensure a clear route before going against the lights.

I’m guessing, since it was a place for troubled youth, you potentially may have already been victims of abuse, god if so that makes this all somehow even worse...but my guess would be they were aiming for promoting the resident’s developing a healthy relationship with their own sexuality. less about sex more about

more critically...none of them remove his ability to trigger the bomb.

and what happens if he actually had set up bombs as he claimed? maybe he decided fuck it and hits the detonator. You can’t play chicken with fucking explosives and civilian lives. He had to be incapacitated without giving him a chance to react, they just found an unconventional way of accomplishing that.

and lets not forget, in this specific situation the dude is claiming he has bombs planted. That threat has to be taken as credible...and what happens when you kneecap the guy ready to detonate bombs....he fucking goes ahead and detonates the fucking bombs. Or lets say they taze him, and he spasms, pressing the

Based on the number of burners, and the surprisingly large number that seem to be making similar, good, cogent arguments; I’m guessing a lot of people had the same concern.

your comment needs to be at the top. well done

Thank god for deadspin giving us a non-gate suffix to use

And Zoe Quinns career was made by gamergate as well. Without GG she would have been just another indie dev without any broader cultural import. I can assure you, she would not have been speaking to the UN if it weren’t for gamergate turning her into a minor celebrity.

I think he was saying those people who read it as a GG/ZQ thing are the ones who think the world revolves around her, not you.

If im being totally honest, the people whose career revolves around either pandering to the GGers or being the totem around which the anti crowd rallies.

...because there were 5 of them...try and remember occam’s razor before driving all the way out to the pitchfork emporium

I hate the ‘looking to be offended’ thing...but holy shit this is a text book case. The only way to make it look bad is to remove the context and spacing between two separate jokes and mash them together while willfully ignoring the obvious pun and placing undo import over what amounts to an internet shitstorm that,

eh, letting you buy what you want rather than buying a scratch off ticket would be much fairer as a start.

Just because something is ridiculous doesn’t mean I don’t fully expect the vast majority of the (online) population to engage in it....fuck, id be shocked for it to be any other way. But i think it’s better to say its silly, ridiculous, or w/e when it is, even if nothing will change.

While I think it’s silly for anyone outside of the designers to be saying what options a game should or shouldn’t have, I find it equally silly for people to be complaining that they would totally love x if only it were y.

I think you really nailed it. As someone who’s bounced off of DS1 and 2 and sort of Bloodborne as well, business trip right after starting and never went back, I’m actually loving DS3 and am sure it will be the first i’ll see to completion. I have no doubt it’s because I’ve finally accepted that the series isn’t using

I follow you. It’s the difference between writing a character who happens to be x, y, or z and writing an x, y, or z character. The former typically leads to much better results since the focus is on good characterization whereas the latter can move the focus from characterization to those specific desired traits.
