That person isn’t actually the regular commenter Sean Brody. They’re impersonating them. They’re actually the Jorni troll that’s been hanging around. Just an FYI.

Easily.

This proves that you’re doing parenting right.

*Swipes left*

Not them, this doesn’t seem like their style. I think it might be Meteor. Jorni first popped up at the same time that SP&A situation got out of hand. Meteor was called out for creating burners to talk to herself and harass certain commenters. Jorni is now accusing people of being misogynistic trolls just like Meteor

I feel like the embodiment of the Charlie Day conspiracy meme.

Also watch out for ones that are calling Jorni an asshole or some other insult in their replies. Pretty sure Laura Dern’s Regret in this thread is also Jorni. It’s a burner created for this thread. Check everyone you’re not familiar with.

They got you again. Bally Mack has now ungreyed all of Jorni and their burner’s comments.

It’s mostly making an educated guess based on checking their comment and recommendation history. In case you don’t know how to do that, you click on the commentor username and you get redirected to their dashboard. There is a drop-down menu in the top right that allows you to see their comments.

Also Bally Mack that is replying to you. This person is insane.

Really. I noticed them doing it yesterday too. The replies were so shady I had to check them out.

I definitely understand the desire to jump in to tell them off. I have to force myself to hold back from doing that on Deadspin constantly. Be careful in the future, because they can dismiss you just like that and then they’re already ungreyed for the whole article. Jorni is now using that power to ungrey comments

Ugh, double post.

Yeah, I’ve gotten to the point that I check the history on anyone that I’m not familiar with. Even without checking, somebody didn’t find it suspicious that the comment with the most recommendations is in the greys?

Ok, who let Jorni out of the greys again?

Lol. It’s not, but it should be.
