Sorry, I wasn’t trying to imply that you did directly, just that they have been linked arguing against Subaru’s in general, even 3 year old models. Worded that poorly.

That’s fine, but I also had both a 2010 Legacy and a 2010 Outback, and both went well over 100k miles without a hitch, so my personal experience doesn’t match the claims out there. My Subaru’s have been rock solid.

What’s worse, then? Age? Or Miles? Both? What’s the cutoff? Do cars magically fall apart at 5 years? 110k miles? 10 years? Why link a bunch of lawsuits are cars that are less than 7 years old? What’s the point?

One never knows. I’ve put 120k miles on a car in under 3 years, before. Subaru hasn’t been making the Crosstrek, or the CVT, for all that long, but apparently they are ripe with problems, if some people are to be believed.

Crosstrek hasn’t been out all that long. Either way, we drive it, a lot, maintain it, and it’s fine.

Yay, again, for some people having problems and others not. Because Toyotas never have complaints against them? I mean, I don’t get your point, other than to troll.

Why? You act like every single Subaru has this issue, and other car brands don’t have any issues. You have a bad experience, I get that, but your experience is no more universal than mine is.

Our 2014 cvt has been solid as a rock, so there’s that.

I haven’t run into this yet, but I just moved over to PC from XBone and am still low level in matches, so maybe that’s keeping it down?

One of the people in my neighborhood has a big orange one of these, and a big pickup truck. They had to lay extra brickage along the outside edge of their driveway, on both sides, so the wheels were off the grass when both are parked in the driveway. Neither vehicle can fit in the garage.

Not true! Well, Braking, maybe, but AWD powersteering is, shall we say, awesome?

You know, people like to think very rich people are just dicks, probably motivated by jealousy, but they’re people, too. This seems like a very nice thing. Symbolic in nature, but very nice.

That’s heavy, Doc.

AS if we needed ANOTHER reason why you’re the best, Stef. Roadmasters are awesome.

I DD’s a C5 Z06 for 9 years. I had another car for work trips because it involved carrying a lot of equipment, but my day in and day out car was that Z06, and it was GLORIOUS!

One of your best, $kay!

It’s ok, not worth it. She has no sud control.

Ok, Alanis, I have a question. I don’t want to preface this, but I think I should, that this is an honest question. You and Stef are obviously more hard core motorsports than I am, so you have more experience in that realm than I so I have to take a lot of the “this is a bad idea” reasoning from you. Anyway, I read

Is it sad that I watched it, and was critiquing her car washing technique? That was not a proper grid pattern, lady. Also, you start at the highest point and work your way down, rinsing panels as you go. And keep the surface wet until you dry, or you’ll get spots. Sigh...

Nice one, $kay
