Is there anyone else in here who thinks we should just all build our own cars to be what we want? I know not everyone has the skills, but do you think the world that Local Motors envisions has a chance at being a predominant reality?

@bdinger: I tip my hat to you for that eye, good sir! If you're so inclined, check out the C5 Z06, as well. Both are insanely fun cars, to drive. The Viper does have the advantage of truly wanting you dead, though, so that's something to consider.
