@Møbius: Win!
@Møbius: Win!
@CABEZAGRANDE: Ive had both cars, in both V6 and V8 flavors, as rentals, and they are both really fantastic automobiles. I'm glad they are both here. The Challenger, on the other hand, is still crap.
@Pidgeonsplatz.: I miss the Javelin...
And also, wear your seatbelts.
Effin Chocobo FTW!
Is it just ironic that it looks like the WINDstar looks like it's getting blown over?
@TrampaOnline: I would agree. I've been laughing for 45 minutes here! and it hasn't even really been up for 45 minutes! Happy Relativitymas!
Hahah! Seriously, I hope no one was hurt, but I love ice carnage. Gravity...
@Spasticteapot: The point is that it can't be offset. It can be compensated for to a point, but there are limits to critical components, like tires, and brakes, where the weight is overcoming the engineering in them. We might be at a decent point now with your examples, but cars aren't getting lighter, and that's…
@Spasticteapot: In imaginary land, yes, a CR-X would win. In reality, it's a crapbox.
@Spasticteapot: Wait a tic, you just threw the honda Fit and the Hyundai Elantra into the "hot hatch" category? Really? That's what you're going with?
@bdinger: I tip my hat to you for that eye, good sir! If you're so inclined, check out the C5 Z06, as well. Both are insanely fun cars, to drive. The Viper does have the advantage of truly wanting you dead, though, so that's something to consider.
@west-coaster: Word up.
@snapoversteer never picked his feet in poughkeepsie: HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!!
@Spasticteapot: Vast steel girders, more steel, 1000 airbags with the stuff that goes along with it, etc. Yeah, it all makes the cars heavier. And when you add all that stuff, you have to increase the load bearing capacity of the frame and suspension, which adds weight. And then you've got to deal with the physics…
@west-coaster: While I sort of, kind of, a little bit agree with some of what you're saying, I have to take issue on a few things. First, that's way more menacing in the looks department than any other car you mentioned. But that's esoteric.
Looks like he went on the train looking for...
@chairmanofthebored: I found the electric tends to heat much more evenly when powdercoating, but you're right, maybe there is more burning of the crap.
