I'd like to take this opportunity to say both "I told you so." and "Well, Duh."

I so want to answer this with "Your mom."

This is not a die-cast, this is my new desktop wallpaper.

@StuckXJ: I'm just glad you didn't say wedgie...

@Darth Meow 504: I had a 92 as my first 'Vette, paid $7000 for it and all it needed was new injectors. Great car. They make a lot of noise, squeaking and rattling, but they drive straight and they are still quick. I highly recommend picking one up.

@TR3-A: Hah! Would there have to be the inevitable virtual rebuilding of the tranny on the cold concrete at 3 AM mini-game?

@twinrotormotor: I think it's there too green up the LFA. It can pick up errant trash as it rolls down the street.

@superveloce: Sometimes beauty is in the eye of the beerholder...

@Darth Meow 504: Get on craigslist and do a search for corvette under $5000 and you should come up with several, mostly in the 1984-1989 vintage, some in the 78-82. You'll find them.

@Tentacle: You really just need to stick around more. Also, stick to your guns when you have an opinion. I probably got my star because I'm not afraid to say "I don't like that car, and I don't need to have a reason you consider valid." I've had a lot of fun with my "not enough torque" argument, precisely because

Miata.

@Tentacle: HP sells cars, torque wins races.

@Tentacle: No, as discussed ad infinitum in the LFA threads, that car is crap, it's ugly, and it doesn't have enough torque. I did not mean to say that, the LFA is not something we care about. Go beg someone else to care.

So there was a time when Toyota built stuff we care about...

@deadmeat1: I've tried that on the top gear track. They don't seem to have any real traction. I spin around in them faster than anything else. Except for the F1. The elise, the Ferarri's, that stupid French thing that you win.

@spuy767: You're probably right.

My biggest beef with the game so far is that it makes me believe any mid-engined car that isn't a McLaren F1 is completely unstable and not worth driving under any circumstances.
