Well if something sticks around for a really long time then it is probably working well. Drum brakes get a bad rap but in light cars they are more than adequate, they are good.

That email didn’t seem unhinged or rage filled. You misrepresented his words in your article as well. He said the facts were mundane and then literally said it was neither negative or positive. Yet you claim he used mundane as a positive and was referring to the car itself.

It’s not cynical to think that maybe, just maybe, the solutions to incredibly complex problems cannot be quickly typed out on a car blog in a few paragraphs. Not really even negative.
