I will have to disagree with you on that. It has it's system but I would never say it's as deep as SSF4 or any traditional fighter. It's a fighting version of Mario Party.

Soul Cal was in Evo last year or the year before. Those streams never really get as hype as the other games featured. If the community participation is low during the year there is a good chance it will not make it as a featured game. There are still games being played at the event just not getting streamed.

I agree that 8 is better then 7 in some regards but people are always afraid of something new and different. No afraid isn't the word I'd say lazy, they don't want to spend the extra 30 minutes on the first time 8 boots up to learn how to use the charms or that windows key + x exists. The info is out there

Hell i'd go farther then "Not bad". This is a pretty damn good blend of WoW, Guild Wars 2, FFXI, Ultima. If anything Yoshida has shown that he "gets" MMO's and why the most successful ones were in fact successful. I'm not saying it will be a WoW killer but it will be a damn good effort(after an abysmal 1st attempt).
