I’d also like to point out that Eight-Legged Freaks is not an awful horror movie, it’s an awesome horror movie.

This conversation has to begin and end with the Austin Healey Bug-Eye Sprite. Not only does it have an inherently cute look - it has a sort of earnestness about it - like a puppy that desperately wants to play with you. I just want to go up and give it a floor pan rub. Or scratch it behind the headlights.

Return of the Killer Tomatoes, the sequal to Attack. had Clooney and got to pull off one of the best brick joke gags when he tosses a pizza into the air , then moves away to answer the phone, only for the Pizza to fall back down in the final act as a Deus ex Machina.

I believe George Clooney was in an Attack of the Killer Tomatoes sequel around that time also, not to mention Grizzly II.

Fair, it’s just harder to identify that as an ‘era’ persay because Volvo was a much smaller marque back then and only had a few mainline models. Still a gorgeous lineup, though.

Chocolate Milk is honestly close to the ideal post-workout recovery beverage since it’s near the ideal carbs: protein ratio.

Its more of them wanting to sell it as a post-workout drink rather than something you would have during your routine. Its supposedly a quick and easy way to replace spent protein.

100% the HHR. It was a cheap practical car that just so happened to look funky. People that owned them seemed to love them, and they had a panel van version that was a great last mile delivery van, and even an SS model.

I still feel that GM, Ford and others were stupid getting rid of their small affordable cars. I rented a Chevy Spark on a trip and for being a 13k car it was totally FINE. Power windows, decent mobile phone enabled sound system, good fuel economy, decent power and acceleration, even dare I say- fun to drive? 

Poker Face is a great show completely on it’s own, but the often overlooked second generation Barracuda is certainly the cherry on top.
