Bloat has more to do with height/weight ratio than breed. It can happen in lots of different dog breeds, including mutts.
Two tools completely changed the quality of my wrenching
1) /4" cordless impact driver (like what you get in combo drill/driver kits)with a socket adapter. Speeds up the process of wrenching. You could swap this out with a dedicated impact wrench or powered ratchet, but this is very accessible due to the aforementioned…

The all purpose length of pipe. A bit of steel piping of indeterminate length and width. Use it as a level, a lever, a hammer, a brace, a long funnel, paint it yellow and pretend it is a lightsaber on Halloween, the uses are virtually endless. We all have one, and if we don’t we’ve all needed it and sworn when we…
surprised power door locks aren’t on the list 🙄
I know everyone says that sunroofs leak and break regularly, but every car I’ve ever had that’s not a convertible has had a sunroof with not even one issue. I use them all the time when I want some open air feeling without letting it all in, like when it’s a sunny 45 degree day in the spring, too cold for windows down…
Lack of global standards that lead to additional engineering / certification costs to deal with patchwork local legislation.

Hydrogen powered vehicles, designed/built on a skateboard type platform so that the bodies would be the only thing that really changed. Think a van, SUV, CUV, sedan, coupe and so on all using the same skateboard underneath with just a different size/style body on top.
I thought there’d be more inter-connectivity between cars and infrastructure by now. Such as traffic lights being notified of your approach and changing before you get there, assuming the intersection is empty (like it’s 2 in the morning with no other cars around and I still have to stop at the light to trigger it to…
Those fancy airless tires. I remember reading about them a decade ago. Every so often they pop up, but they soon disappear back into the background.
Not so much something that’s missing altogether, but I thought we’d have more widespread adoption of basic accident-avoidance technology. Forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking (and post-collision braking for that matter) and lane keeping or blind spot warning. This would be an easy way to cut down on t…
I honestly thought more vehicles would replace side mirrors with some sort of camera system. I’m personally glad they haven’t yet, but I thought that would arise before the self driving craze.
yeah plenty of use for trucks over 1500/150 whatever designation - i am in construction, and most of our field guys absolutely need the 2500s. farmers, etc. as well. daily drivers? Nah.
There’s plenty of need for 1 ton trucks and larger; just not enough need to justify the number produced and sold.
Angry Wrangler grills and low profile mud tires on giant rims, the latter on pretty much any truck........or maybe just the whole Bro-Dozer thing in general.
