I was socializing, which is why I left the bag and turned around to have it suddenly not be where it was. There was no check in at the event. The items really aren't vital, we've got backups, it's just really annoying.

Everything is backed up, yeah. Its just plain annoying to be abroad and have all your gear disappear.
