I feel like this might be one of those franchises that just gets funnier over time. The lukewarm reviews on Ten Years Later almost dissuaded me from watching it, but I did, and I almost peed myself.

It was a small moment, but I *loved* when Dany and Missandei were walking and talking and the mention of Missandei doing of ‘things’ with Grey Worm had Dany stop in her tracks. It was such a cute and relatable moment in friendship and we’ve all received and given that look to a friend. ;)

Loved this episode! Question: Jaime fell into the water only 10 ft from shore...how the heck was it so damn deep? Was it a quarry with a crazy drop-off or something?

I’m sure I am going to take some flack for this, but it’s time for Jaime to die. His interaction with Olenna was his last meaningful act. After this, all he can do to be even remotely interesting is fuck his sister.

Perhaps they had the default frame smoothing motion setting on. Amateur stuff. Easily turned off, most new TVs come with the setting on as default.

It’s probably because they had the “motion smoothing” feature turned on, it leads to the soap opera effect. As long as you turn that off, most movies look good in 4K.

That actually wasn’t 4K, but crappy motion interpolation. A lot of TVs run above the 60Hz refresh of TV shows in order to be able to show smoother motion and to get rid of pulldown issues when going between film and TV formats with 24 and 60 frames per second respectively.
