Oh, I really liked it. I thought it elegantly juggled the past and future scenes, and Fassbender and McAvoy were still giving it their best. Lawrence, meh.

The scenes in the future were rightfully brutal, and the fixed future ending, with Logan walking through the school and seeing all his old peers, was really lovely.

And what’s funny/sad was that, in the lead-up to the premiere, Munn was bragging that she gave up the role of Deadpool’s girlfriend because she wanted a meatier role. And Deadpool’s girlfriend ended up being a surprisingly decent love interest, and Psylocke was a cringe-worthy supporting role.

I think that the leader of a country can set a certain tone, and I’m seeing that with Trump in my country. Say what you will about Trudeau, but he’s out in the streets hugging his people and making an effort to be a part of them.

Sandwiched between the excellent Days of Future Past and the IMO perfect Logan, Apocalypse was like if an annoyed shrug was turned into a movie.

I still really like that Black Widow fight scene, though.

It really was, which is shocking. I wish these shows could be great across the board, but Legends and Arrow were terrific this year.

Legends was a total BLAST this season. Hilarious and goofy, and honestly so much fun.

Comparing Legends (specifically season two) to Gotham in terms of quality, though, leans entirely in favor of Legends S2, which was as bonkers as it was solid.
