Diminished value is any vehicle though. It’s the difference between what it was worth pre-accident and post-accident.

it needs more than a new headlight and some paint work. and on a car like that, even a new front bumper, fender, headlight, and hood can make a huge impact on value. Not to mention any hidden damage, ferrari didn’t design the car to have a mercedes parked on it’s hood.

I never said it was an investment. but even as a “I daily drove it and used it as intended” car, it has less value than one that wasn’t wrecked. And yes that counts as a wreck.
