Not sure what you’re talking about in terms of easy sliding in and out. Never had a problem getting in or out of a car with cloth seats. I also tend to keep it clean inside and have not had a need to clean my seats beyond an occasional vacuuming. Oh, and I do have 2 kids that are now teenagers and we’ve never had an

I believe that this vehicle is mostly designed by Navistar. It’s just their rebadged HD truck just as they previously did for Ford for decades.

I’ve never flown SW and now given all of their troubles I have even less inclination to do so in the future.

that’s exactly why I refuse to own a car with leather seats. Cold in the winter and scolding hot in the summer.

subaru has not produced an enthusiast car for last 10 years or more. All of the bloated WRX and STi verions have not lived up to the brand’s reputation. Now add to this that they stopped painting rear bumpers and I really don’t see myself owning a Subaru again anytime soon.

assuming that you’re shifting from R from D. If you’re trying to reverse from a dead stop (parking spot for example, or garage) you’d go from P to R which is backward stick motion as well.

tie the functionality to the gear selector and have lights shut off in N and P. easy.

I see countless cars on the streets riding with no lights at all. Why? because the dash is lit up and the lights are in the “off position” which on some cars turns the DRLs off as well.

parking brake is used for that on some cars. Parking brake on = DRL off

nah, we need even less regulations...let everyone and every company do whatever they want. Just issue free guns to everyone and it will all sort itself out as a “free market economy” with endless personal liberties...

were your contis wearing faster because of a lower threadwear number? That’s a key factor when comparing tires. Of course the less sticky ones will last longer as they probably had a higher threadwear number. tradeoffs...

Such a loss. Craig has been a really solid performer lately. RIP Craig

not buying this argument. I open the doors when i’m there. If someone that I know needs an access to my garage (kids/family) I pre-arrange this by either giving them a key or having a keypad that they can use.

why, because people want to pay fair price that is advertised? I also take offense in all of the “tip making” people most likely not reporting this properly on their income taxes, ultimately cheating you and me out of the taxes paid. You can’t make a living doing a certain job, change the job or your financial

lol, Toyota Mirai, I didn’t even know that this was a thing :D

have a simple keypad. Delivery people in your garage? no thanks. I’m there to get the deliver of you’re not going inside.

again, remote keypad. Problem solved

right? I have yet to find a need to have some of these smart home devices, much less the garage door. Why would I ever want to open my garage door from far away? I’m either there to open it or it’s not getting opened.

yet again, a problem that would not be there had the handles been operated the traditional mechanical way. We’ve gained virtually no benefit for having electric door opening while we’ve created a ton of possible and unnecessary issues.
