if you still rely on a GPS from your car then I have no sorrow for you and your honda clock problem.

who needs a nav system in the car still? I guess back in 2002 we did when our flip phones weren’t capable of telling you where to go. nobody needs a car that’s navi equipped in 2022

People with no lights because they don’t notice or they think that they are on “auto”. I hate auto and DRL features that are currently on cars with the too-easy override with a knob that is too frequently set to the wrong setting. If I was a cop i’d be only pulling over people with no lights or with DRSs in the front

right? notice lack of any kind of a power slide of this “fast RWD” car in the vid

While this may not be underpowered for the track, the torque numbers are still very low meaning that real world traffic acceleration will be lacking and it’s still not as good as other cars that potential buyers will cross shop (Veloster, GTI, WRX, etc.). Just boost the dam thing already Toybaru.

non PP MK7s didn’t torquesteer either. I had base S MK7 MY2015 and it was fine without ediff.

I had no idea since both my 2015 and 2020 came with the same Pirelli model. I guess that makes sense for your tires and I can certainly see entry level Bridgestones being awful as well.

not on the edge but aggressive cornering and braking when safe. There are times of the day or areas where there is nowhere around you and you can take an off/on ramp turn faster or brake harder into a turn at an intersection without endangering anyone.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about. I’m on my 2nd GTI (MK7 and MK7.5 now) and both cars had the stock Pirelli Cinturato on them and for the first half of the thread the tires were fine. I didn’t track the car but spirited driving with hard cornering and late braking is more than adequate. This comes from

Neutral: why do people use steelies with no hubcaps on their winter wheels? steelies look like $hit all of the time and even in winter i would not want my car to look this way, especially if it will be multiple months. I’ve had winter wheels for the past 18 years or so and none have ever been the ugly steelies. Even

it’s actually not that bad. It looks like plenty of space. Parallel parking is really an acquired skill especially if you live in a large city with limited parking lots. once your back end is in, you’ll be amazed how easily the front slides into place with wheels turned all the way to the left. an average person

I would love to have the Veloster N, the problem is just that it’s too tiny for what I need it to be and GTI hits all of my butt0ns and it’s so damn good. If I was in my 20s, I’d be driving the Veloster.

agreed. especially when an extra $1-2 will buy you a “hero”. It was so pathetic to see companies “generously” reward their heros last year with that miniscule of a pay bump. :(

wow, that is crazy. but I guess it’s not bad to have a 200% jump in value in 11 years if you’re ready to sell and move to another area in the country where you can pay the same $400k for another house.

well, historically this doesn’t really hurt the banks or the borrowers but rather the taxpayers as a whole :(

general public is not very money savvy and you also have a lot of families that are well off and can say “oh f*ck it” at an extra $10k as they really like the car ...because Jonses... and they won’t care if they’re upside down on it later.

It’s an OK vehicle but not great. Often the companies managing your HSA will have large fees since they know that the money put in is really intended to come out faster than in a regular retirement account. Also, they tend to have limited number of funds/options that they get to chose so you may be placing your money

why isn’t Mickey dating Minie?

I don’t like getting emails on my days off and if it’s a vacation time where i’m away form the computer and home I tend to create a rule in Outlook so that all incoming email during my vacation time goes into a separate folder labeled “vacation”. This way I don’t even get the anxiety that my inbox is growing with an

that’s interesting about starbucks but how exactly would this be enforced? If I’m a barista, I’d be able to make myself anything at any time and no one would know. It would all get lost in the volume of drinks of the day.
