3 things I learned:

So true! I was a system administrator for 46 years and cannot recall a system where this could’t be done (if the system/apps weren't contained in ROM. ;-) ). Including Windows, of course.

Turn “completion bias” to your advantage by breaking a project into smaller tasks which CAN be completed in one day or one sitting, thereby multiplying your satisfaction.

I have a Windows 7 laptop that kept nagging me to uograde to 10. Finally tried it, after a considerable bit of time, it issue a message that it “encountered a problem” (not giving me a clue as to what it was. Thanks Microsoft), and then reverted back to 7. Thankfully that went ok...

Even better, to not stop. On VERY slick surfaces (freezing rain, black ice) you don’t want to break traction by creating a differential in speeds between the tires snd the road. I’ve had to do this crossing overpasses, which freeze before road surface ‘on land’
