Yeah, my project didn't fail; I cancelled it halfway through because of that. When I saw a company-created project getting funded that was less than a day old, it pissed me off that they would even bother, and in the project itself they were gloating about their advertising elsewhere, and super-nice professionally…

Actually, I think the problem IS partially due to the lack of any kind of quality control on Kickstarter's behalf. I mean, if the site implemented a user-based rating system that allows shit projects to be buried, it would help immensely.

Not to diminish anything regarding the face loss or rebuild, but I gotta say that whoever saved his face the first time did a pretty stellar job. He really didn't look all that bad considering what happened.
