Oh, yeah, completely different. That generation was awful. Apparently enough so that I forgot they existed entirely and just assumed you meant a newer one.

What trim level, engine, etc? I have a hard time understanding really hating an Escape. I had one, Titanium with the 2.0 and it was a damn good car, almost made me understand the love for crossovers. The only reason I got rid of it was that I couldn’t deal with an automatic...so now I have a FoST, basically the same

Seriously. Anyone who hates America right now is trying to find ways to slip vitamins and supplements into his burgers...

I hate to see these cars destroyed as much as anyone here, but if /this/ is what crosses the line for you when it comes to the shit he’s done...

It wasn’t bullshit on the cop’s part, just sheer bad timing, but coming home from my job many years ago, in my old S-10 Blazer, less than a mile from home, I hit quite a pothole while rounding a curve that was near impossible to see after dark. The jolt was enough to break one of my headlights.

Cliffs of Dover is very, very much a sim.

You could start my old ‘91 S-10 Blazer with virtually any key. If it would fit in the key slot, it would start the truck. You could take the key right out once it was started, too.

I’m assuming Kilometers per Month, with that powertrain in something that size.

That’s the first thing I thought of, too. That game tortured me as a kid; I never could get anywhere in it. I should try again sometime.

Maaaaaybe if it was a GSi, but...as much as I’ve always had a soft spot for the little miniature Camaros...I can’t, at that price, for this one.

I do a lot of road trips with groups of friends that usually involve packing our cars full and caravaning. I’ve always wanted a stupid, crazy, entirely ridiculous bus to stuff everyone into instead (c’mon...who hasn’t!?). This one looks one driveway brake job away from quite a few memorable summer trips. $1,100 is

(before anyone jumps in, I wasn’t paying attention to my typing. Yes, I’m aware it’s a 35, not a 37, in the Maxima)

Current gen Nissan Maxima. So much hate for it here, so I picked one as a rental just to see how bad it was. I loved just about everything about it. Felt quick and agile for its size, the VQ37 still hoLDS up great, its one of my favorite interiors, and even the CVT really isn’t that bad. Not as good as a manual but

It looks good until “avoid the pursuit of happiness.”

The linked article has a photo gallery. They’re not wearing leashes around their necks that could strangle them, they’re wearing them attacked to those bright yellow vests.

Looking at the manufacturer’s website, they have a few types. Either it can lower the bottom bay under the floor to unload the top bay (or bays, some have more than 2)...or, with the other systems...you’re out of luck and need the car on the bottom to be moved first.

Only 8 sounds kinda sounds like a half-assed rip-off.

This is half true, but for them to be true Rhode Island directions, they have to involve at least one landmark that hasn’t existed for at least a decade.

This makes me miss playing so badly. I have two Cobalt Flux metal pads that desperately need to be used, but I live on a second floor apartment with not-great sound insulation and neighbors that are usually sleeping when I’m awake...

Can’t wait to get rear-ended by a driver distracted by that massive screen.
