Now playing

There was a pretty solid remake of that a few years back (by the original devs - the original game was their first title), too.

That Silvercat ring...I need it!

I’ve told the story around here before, so short version, my first car was a 94 Dodge Spirit. It ended up with a slightly different than factory paintjob after the paint peeled off, so it was reasonably noticeable up close. After the engine died, I signed it over to the mechanic my family always went to, so he

Could be. I’m -hoping- that it’s more an issue of improving the missions’ pacing; the transitions between areas could be weird, going from what felt like endgame stuff to high level “newbie” missions, etc. I suppose we’ll find out soon. I’d be just as disappointed if the investigations ended up on the chopping

They’re said that all content from the original game will be included, so it sounds like investigation missions aren’t going anywhere. I don’t think they’d be able to dumb them down that much without removing content. The FAQ on their website says you need to start over because of an all new progression and

So, optimistically speaking, keep all the good parts of TSW, replace the parts I didn’t like...well, yeah, okay, you have my attention now.

Yep. I rented a Maxima on my last vacation just to see how bad it was.

Don’t have dogs, but one of my cats loves beer. That’s something of a problem given how incredibly dangerous alcohol is to cats, but she has no idea and if you leave a glass unattended around her, she’ll have her face in it. I always have to warn anyone that has a drink at my place, but they inevitably don’t believe

Power Drive was sold in the US, at least on PC! I still have it...can still remember buying it at CompuUSA, right after my father bought an add-on 4x cd-drive for our computer at the time, then finding out than CD drive or not, the old 386 couldn’t run it properly. It was years before I actually got to play it.

Yes, that’s correct. A properly functioning helicopter engine/rotor stays at a constant RPM.

Yep, my old S-10 Blazer had the same issue.

Probably a Lancia Scorpion, on the road, in showroom condition. In New England, no less. I guess more rare/suprising than obscure, but whatever kept the rust off of it had to have been supernatural.

Yeah, I looked at this and barely paid it any attention at first, assuming more nWoD garbage, then had that double-take moment. Wait...Masquerade?

Interesting note; the Vampire game here name drops a few characters and events from Bloodlines. I don’t want to get ahead of myself in hoping that it’s hinting at a sequel, but...it’s a spark of hope!

Just be sure you get the community patch. The last official patch left a TON of bugs and issues in the game, that the fans fixed later.

I...kinda want that Mondial. Maybe I just have a thing for underdogs, but the Mondial t is a far cry from the original models, and that one looks as well cared for as they get.

Will do, soon as my tax return is in!

I’m fine with stable 30 fps. It’s the unstable, sometimes 30 sometimes 15, that bothers me.

I assume with Boost Mode, it will still be capped to 30, so that shouldn’t be an issue; just hopefully it will actually stay at 30 instead of dropping and stuttering further.
