If you’re not afraid of manufacturer refurbished units, I was able to pick up one of the ROG Swift PG278s for a bit over $500 this week, with the original manufacturer warranty and all, according to Amazon and Asus the only thing it doesn’t include is the original packaging.

Playing last night (i7-4970k, 16GB ram, 980GX) with everything maxed out, including vsync, didn’t see anything below 60 fps. Granted it’s still a fairly high end system, but not that unusual these days. I haven’t upgraded drivers yet or anything.

Deep Eddy. The basic vodka is smooth and easy to drink; the flavored ones are good enough to drink straight, particularly the Sweet Tea vodka, which isn’t just tea flavored, it’s made with real tea. Sooo good. The cranberry isn’t far behind.
