He should have had George (W.) Bush paint his portrait instead.

Hopefully this ensures he will never get the job painting the "official" portrait of anyone else.

Oh, just shut the fuck up. Why bother taking the commission if you can't be bothered acting like a professional. Instead, you decided to play Where's Waldo? with a presidential portrait.

Are you talking about that shadow on the left? That's pretty damn shitty if that's what it's supposed to represent.

GWB should be repainted in an orange jumpsuit.

WTF. Really? Just paint the damn picture and keep your political commentary out of it. Jesus. Can we repaint the official portrait of Reagan to make commentary on how his AIDS policies killed thousands of people?

That scene when Annalise was having her head scratched by her mom brought me to tears. I've been in that exact position and had many poignant conversations and shared many secrets with my mother doing that same thing. I miss my Mummy.

Yes, this exchange spoke not only to the harm of sexual abuse, but also addressed how seemingly infallible and objective systems (created by men and power) do not get justice for the marginalized and require us to navigate injustice on our own. Given that the show functions within a legal framework, I thought her

I watched the game and saw this all go down.

Honestly, the behavior of the Oregon players is the least offensive aspect of this entire story.

"and with choreography"

My problem with accusing these players of trivializing sexual assault is that it implies that sexual assault hasn't already been trivialized in this case. I was listening to Roger Staubach being interviewed on sports radio yesterday and when the subject of Jameis Winston came up Staubach and the interviewer both

On the one hand, it's shitty and unsportsmanlike.

You've convinced me. It makes sense - at the very least, if FSU is going to turn a blind eye to sexual assault, if they're going to do everything i their power to make sure that a rapist gets to play football without any punishment, then for whatever reason they're chanting it, it's not a bad thing to always be a bug

I don't follow college football, so the only thing I associate with FSU is that the school and community bent over backwards to ignore a rape accusation against some football dummy with impulse control issues. So what's so bad about the school and community being associated with rape? That's entirely based on their

Call me crazy, but I don't think this trivializes the victim at all. Are these dudes paragons of the feminist mindset? No, probably not. But I think its helpful to remind people, loudly and with choreography, that Winston is a scumbag rapist.

I see that the consensus here is the the Ducks were being dicks for the chant and trivializing Winston's rape of a fellow student. However, I'm with damn near anything that brings to light and shames the fuck out of a man for committing such crime.

People were against FSU mostly because of Winston. It was funny for him to be taunted by players from that paragon of virtue and scholarship, the University of Oregon.

The whole game was a trivialization of sexual assault. The announcers were hammering on the fact that FSU had a chip on their shoulders because they felt the country was against them, and against Winston in particular, and they never, EVER mentioned why.

One of my facebook friends who is a die hard FSU fan posted a link to the video with the quote "stay class Oregon." I thought that has to be the most ironic thing anyone's ever said about the situation.
