Yeah, it’s not that I think this moment is any better or worse than

That’s been something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately—how to raise a child to have empathy and a sense of a justice, etc.—and nothing has brought that into sharper relief than this string of tragedies.

I’m not going to engage with you anymore. It’s clear you want to have a hate-filled, angry conversation and it was my mistake to try and engage with you.

I very clearly reference the tragedy of the police officers’ deaths in my original post. With an ounce of empathy it’s possible to mourn the death of innocent black civilians killed by the police and to mourn the death of these 5 police officers.
