@SG-17: Attenuation, resistance is what he meant by "signal strength", I'm assuming. Although I've never heard about HDMI cables suffering from input "lag". I guess if you had a 100+ foot cable, you might see some millisecond delays.

@Geoff Wolf: Yes, but there is an exact instant when they reverse their polarities. Polarity shifts don't happen over thousands of years - just the movement of the poles.
