You can view the books in the original pages or digital (digitized?) pages. That's just awesome.

@irishoob: Imagine 10mb of Guinness.

@jeremiah89: "If you'd like to try out Diaspora yourself, you'll have to either find someone with invites, or keep an eye on the front page, since registration is currently closed."

I'm curious if the same ruling would've been found in a U.S. court. I'm thinking the employee would've gotten 20 years and the corporation would've gotten off scot-free. Although, 1.6 million seems like chump change.

@Hypnosifl: Thanks. The effect is greatly exaggerated in the first picture.

@CaptainJack: Captivate is the AT&T version of the Galaxy S. Vibrant is the TMO version.

@Y2KGTP: Most other Android devices (aside from the Vibrant Galaxy S) don't come with a sizable amount of onboard memory. They all, however, have microSD support.

@GayRobotsRUS: Don't worry about it. Your mind isn't supposed to process those lines as the same length. It's using a heuristic you've used and proved your entire life to judge distance and object size. You could say you're hard-wired into seeing the illusion. If you had never in your life seen two parallel

@Hypnosifl: Same for me, I am somewhat tricked by the Ebbinghaus illusion, but not at all by the Muller Lyer illusion.

These illusions are kind of misleading. They use the same heuristics that our mind uses to rapidly process visual data. For instance, when something moves away from you, you don't perceive the object as shrinking in size, but instead, being at a farther distance than it previously was. You shouldn't feel bad if you

@TheNr24: So, that's it? Why the stark divide between the universe and nothing? Theoretically, what would happen if I were to walk across the line? Would I hit a wall, disappear, become immortal?

@socket7: Would a comma have sufficed? "... turn a 656-foot, big blimp vertical."

What's outside the bubble?

@Netscott: It's shopped. I can tell from the pixels and from seeing quite a few shops in my day.

@Xer0Ph0kus: You'd have to look up the npr report for the name. I can't do it at the moment.
