And just like any other engine, rain is grossly oversimulated. I don't know about you guys, but I can't see splashes of raindrops in grass, unless there's a puddle there to begin with - and then it's more like splashes of raindrops in water. Plus, the water running down buildings tends to look a little unrealistic
