My HDMI port just died on my Xbox S. It was connected to an APC surge protector during a power surge, but it still failed. I'm not sure if I can really blame it on the Xbox, but either way, the build quality is embarrassing. Good read, Owen, and you're exactly right.

Stuff happens!? You're OK with this!?

Yes.

Is this expected to be good?

I've had T-Mobile since January, living in both Florida and Colorado. Absolutely no problems so far. I love the unlimited data news.

Yes, I don't understand that at all. If you're going to make a ridiculous statement like that, at least explain it.

If they pass on the savings to the customer, (using a free OS instead of having a Windows licensed OS), then I think it's a great idea. Something tells me Dell won't do that.

@w78

I really believe things will get better for Nokia. I absolutely love my Lumia 710. As long as they keep putting out quality products, more people will give them a chance.

What a ridiculous comment. Mass Effect is my favorite video game series of all-time, and I liked the synthesis ending. Saren was killed before Shepherd knew the full gravity of the situation. And don't give me anything about "space magic". Mass Effect wasn't even close to being hard sci-fi to begin with.

This is hugely disappointing to me, as it was one of the big reasons why I converted to Macs in the first place. Still, I love how efficient my 2011 iMac is.

I'm guessing Microsoft didn't announce every spec because they're not exactly sure what they're going to be. Weird for them to announce this so early.

Kind of annoying, but it does make sense. Your average consumer will need nothing more that the RT, and that's the direction MS wants to go. But there will be diehards that just have to have the old desktop side of things. They're going to satisfy both sides. And btw, the metro apps will be compatible with both,

What eric said. You're crazy if you think the prices will be that low. These are premium tablets with a premium OS. I really believe it will compete with the iPad.

The hatred for QR codes if baffling, but the disdain for that monstrosity called the Note is completely understandable.

Sounds like it has the potential to be good, even though I have no desire to play online. But not having full control as a "GM" like the old Franchise mode is going to be difficult. I want to hear more about how that part of it will be implemented, or I won't be buying.

Buy them now, and enjoy it. It's all about the journey, man. I'm one of the few that didn't hate the ending, but even if I did, that doesn't erase the 100+ hours of enjoyment I spent on the series.

That was bizarre. I can't even pretend to know what was going on. Very cool though.

Very interesting stuff. I'd love to be able to watch CFL on American TV.

I hope someone steps up and releases a fully updated 2013 roster for MLB 2k12. That would make me happy.
