It would have been nice, useful even, if the author decided to actually note the difference between a 70mm film and standard so readers know what the hell he's waxing on about.

I really tried to not like this show but I just can't. It's too well written and acted. This episode made me cry. Cash has been playing (maybe?) depression absolutely perfectly. She's a gem.
Nope. That's pretty much him.
Might be a better show.
God DAMN IT! I knew Jessie Eisenberg would just be all Jessie Eisenberg with Lex Luthor. He's terrible.
I'm so tired of the story line of people trying to save someone like Morgan did with the Wolf. I get that he was trying to do for the wolf what happen to him, but in that episode, the guy who saves Morgan ultimately dies because of him.
Uhh, anyone who watched their stellar work on Community (obligatory AV Club Community shoutout.)
The only complaint I have is the 6.5 month wait! This looks rad!
I am curious where Ant Man is though. He's been in the promotional material, and Civil War was referenced in his post-credits scene. I bet he was in one of the shots but just too small to see. He has to be in this movie, right?
I think you nailed it. Pragmatist vs. Idealist. Understood in those terms, the core of each character, the sides they choose make sense.
Cap has always stood for American Ideals, not the government.
Well, it doesn't make me want Miles more than Parker but it is a very impressive bit of filmmaking.
Hey! Look! I don't like things! I don't like the thing you guys are here reading about that you like!
I find Jesse Eisenberg a single note actor. He can only play stuttering and awkward. I think it's a stretch for him to even play stoned. He's sort of insufferable and makes almost every movie worse.
The real question is: Why would you want to do this?
Not really with you on that one seeing as how she had been dead in the comics for say, 30 years before the movie. Tough to spoil a plot point that old.
I love Batman and the mythos surrounding the character but I find this show unwatchable. In large part that's due to Ben McKenzie's terrible acting. He sounds like he's literally chewing his character's dialog. The other players are at least tolerable but he's bad. I held out hope that it'd get better as the…
You shut your whorish mouth!
I really wanted to like this show because I love the source material, but it is terrible. I can't get past Ben McKenizie's Gordon. He's bad. He talks like he's growling with a mouth full of marbles. I don't like the young Bruce Wayne storyline at all, same with Selina Kyle, or any of the real characters. The only…
I absolutely agree. I think the reviewer is sort of stretching to find the homoerotic tension there.
I agree. People in Matt's circle are victimized, not just women. It's a strain to say they keep victimizing women because that's not really the point. Just like in the comics, everyone who crosses paths with Murdock falls into the Kingpin's crosshairs.
Well, ideally this movie never would have been made.
