After Dr. Channard gets thrown into the Cenobite pod screaming and kicking while getting mutilated/pumped up with blue liquid, he emerges completely transformed and murmurs, "To think that I hesitated". What a great line.

What I love about Neon Maniacs is that there is absolutely no explanation for why the Neon Maniacs exist. Unless one counts the beginning, which features a fisherman stumbling across a cattle skull (?) which contains trading cards (!!) of the Neon Maniacs, but that just raises more questions than answers (like, how

I'm pretty much in agreement, but my girlfriend did raise an interesting point: Jimmy has been the most vocal proponent of "We're not freaks, we're regular folk!", yet his actions have resulted in the death of Meep and he's a drunk, pitiful mess when we last see him, all on account of trying to get back at Dell for

Favorite carnival games:
Due to the ease with which it can be rigged, this game no longer exists, but when I was young, there was this one game where people placed quarters on any number of colored circles. After this was done, a wheel with the corresponding colors was spun by the carnie. A mouse would emerge from a

I love how the Iowa State Fair always has "The World's Smallest Horse", complete with the theme song to Rawhide (!) always blasting from the speakers that adorn its booth.

My favorite sideshows:
1. Whale shows, where the stuffed body of a whale was shown to the public.
2. Giant Rat shows, where the "killer rat of the amazon" would be a harmless Capybara
3.Unrelated, but the fact that people who sold candy and food were called "Butchers"

Does this mean we'll also get a Ghostbusters reboot with a CGI animated Tracy the Gorilla voiced by Jack Black?

Alan Rickman's Sheriff is wonderful, especially in how debauched he is. He constantly looks to be on the verge of vomiting, and I love the idea of an evil pagan so corrupt that he just looks so uncomfortable in everything he does, from his lurch to his constant sweating. He looks to be in pain from having to pretend

Great Lines of Dialogue, 1st Place:

WELL THAT REMAINS TO BE SEEN. I DON"T AGREE WITH THAT BUT AGAIN, YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO YOUR OPINION.

Adam Rose is such a strange character. For a product that is repeatedly condemned for being several years behind pop culture, it's hilariously odd that the writers would go with a gimmick based on a Russell Brand character from an R rated movie several years ago. I guess Morat the Uzbekistani was option B if Adam Rose

You're absolutely right, my mistake. On a similar thread, he did really enjoy Dracula 2000, which did have Jeri Ryan as a vampire (plus Vitamin C!)

After watching Van Helsing in the cheap, second run theater, my father (who gave me death stares during the scene involving Gypsy Kate Beckinsale with her dead family in the clouds) turned to me as we exited and moaned, "That was worst than that one with Sean Connery and the vampire!" I actually thought it was funny

Thank you so much Disqus! I have a lot to pour over this evening!

LOVE Charli XCX, especially "Nuclear Seasons", which is one of the best songs I've ever heard, and hell, I greatly enjoy "Super Love", but her most recent songs, "Break the Rules, and "Boom Clap", are pretty bluh (especially since "Boom Clap" sounds like a dumber version of "Stay Away").

Thank you disqus_F3dme7ZCKO, that "Hey QT" song is pretty catchy in a goofy kinda of way. . Any other recommendations you can throw my way?
