Good eye!

As I was reading this article, I just kept thinking, "Why aren't they talking about Gigi Edgley?"

I took a class called "The Soul in the Ancient World" which explored different concepts of the soul in ancient Greek, Roman, Jewish, and Christian thought. At the end of the big exam, I remember my professor asking if there were any questions. Someone chimed in, "Wait, do we have souls or what?". The professor let out

I love Christianity, except the parts about martyrdom!!

Maybe he's trying out for the off broadway adaptation of The Dallas Buyers Club.

Fingers crossed that the remake includes the immortal television edit, "Where did you get that scar, eating pineapple?" when it finally ends up playing Spike TV

I went to see GWAR in Davenport, IA back in 2002. The group I was in consisted largely of stereotypical college hipsters, all of whom viewed GWAR as a lark. We all liked GWAR, but most were of the belief that a.)everyone thought that they were a goofy college project poking fun at metal and b.)everyone thought this

Favorite Kate Bush Songs:
* Army Dreamers
*Delius (Song of Summer)
*Ran Tan Waltz
*There Goes a Tenner
*Suspended in Gaffa
*Wuthering Heights
*Infant Kiss

Would one of those five include Sally Struthers International Correspondence School, with the immortal tagline, "Do you want to make more money? Sure, we all do!"

Believe you me, there is a stunning lack of porno, even amateur, that features Slave Leia. Fingers crossed that the eventually Return of the Jedi XXX parody rectifies this slight.

Aside from the fact that Tom Vu found a new calling in life as a professional poker player, I love how he inda set the standard for "stock infomercial host". For a while in the early 90s, whenever some sitcom or cartoon needed a parody of an informercial host, he would always be surrounded by bikini clad women, often

Good Call Pixie. If you include Dan Brown books and books about Dan Brown books, that would take up an entire shelf at some locations.

Go to any Goodwill and you will find at least one of his books. His stuff is far more common than yellowed copies of The Deep or Dennis Rodman's "Bad as I Want To Be", although he lags behind Teen Bibles.

That informercial was really strange because it made it seem like Cindy Margolis and Don Lapree were in a movie together, but I've never been able to find any evidence that that film even existed.

I remember that movie too-Sasquatch Mountain I think.I was waiting for the scene where Lance Henrikson said, "Wait, we're hunting Bigfoot? I signed up to hunt down Pumpkinheads!"

Don't forget Chick-O-Stick!

So long as you don't hate this commercial, nobody's got a problem.

The Cardigans, "Rise and Shine"
The High Water Marks, "Suicide"
Sleater Kinney, "The Fox"
Bone Symphony, "One Foot in Front of the Other"
Queens of the Stone Age, "Go with the Flow"

The Long Bomb by Brett Forrest, which details the rise and fall of the XFL. A good, fairly quick read, to be followed by my Valentine's gift, Perversion for Profit by Whitney Strub, about the rise of The Right's anti-pornography crusade.

How about High Rollers?
