The Dark Knight trilogy didn't have as much of a focus on the Joker as the Arkham trilogy does. And I'm pretty sure they wanted the Joker in Dark Knight Rises, but given the circumstances, they couldn't implement the character in a satisfying way.

I'll have to give it another shot. I was super excited to play the series... But then the keyboard controls happened. :(
