I though McIntyre's Spartacus lacked the fiery hate that Whitfield's had. Otherwise than that he was ok. However, without strong plot/scheme element this show quickly degenerates into mindless sex and violence. Batiatus was the character that made the show work for me.

My problem with Matt Smith's doctor is that he needs to be rescued all the time. Instead of him coming up with an exciting brilliant plan to save the day, his companions have to save him or have to push him in the right direction.

I hope this show is better than having just an imaginary Geller. I am hoping that there is a real Geller that does some stuff - like paint and pray - while there is also an imaginary Geller that tells Travis to kill.

I think Brody slipped the prisoner the razor blade, however, he will say it was because he wanted him to die, not sit in a comfy prison for the rest of his life. That leaves the question of whether or not he is a terrorist unanswered.

Stephen Mangan worked way better than Hank Azaria. However, I thought the actress playing the main female character was better in the US version of the pilot. Unfortunately, they made her character crazy after the first episode.

I totally agree. If 24 made torture okay with 30-40% of the public, then this show might make 'Big Brother' like surveillance acceptable. Shudder….

I found this show's premise  to be extremely disturbing. It is like someone watched "The Lives of Others" and thought that implementing East Germany's Stasi methods would be a good idea in the U.S. If this show was made prior to 9/11 there would be a huge outcry, but now it seems that people can accept that something

Actually, this reminds me far more of the second rate British show 'Outcasts'. Although the effects are much better.
