@Asinus: That's exactly how I use my handhelds. Well, at least while watching TV or going to sleep. Not so much on the toilet, mainly because I have an irrational fear of dropping things in. Anyway, it's perfect as long as a particular game is fairly mindless and low-energy (i.e., not something like The World Ends…
Earnest Goes To Camp is my actual earliest memory of seeing a movie in the theater. I defy you bros to come up with a cooler story than that.
So, HTH, how does it feel to know you've made yourself a toady to a guy who actually thinks you're someone else because he's simply too stupid to understand what you said when you were trying to back him up?
I swear, it's almost like he's trying to say something…
Thys is starting to sound pretty tytyllating.
I feel foolish enough for talking myself into getting a DSi XL I didn't really need. The last time I picked it up, I put it right down again and fetched the Lite because what I really wanted to play was Mother 3. No more upgrades for me for a while.
My Turbo Xpress and its AC adapter say HELL YES. Also, my actual TG-16 seems no longer to be working.
*standing ovation for Miller*
If it hasn't been utterly spoiled for you on these boards by now (or even if it has), start with Bioshock. You might also consider Condemned 2. I never played the first one, which was an Xbox exclusive, but the sequel was decently atmospheric and even has a somewhat decent story, at least until it goes off the…
There need to be more Impressionist video games. That small section of Chrono Cross proves it can be done.
A Funny Thing Happend on the Way to the Forum
Oddly, this was frequent viewing in my childhood household. I rented it last year and realized that I had probably never even grasped half of everything that was going on.
Wait, so it's based on a comic that isn't Top 10?
I realize now that I've been thinking of the "classic" in "TV Club Classic" as just meaning stuff that's not currently on the air, which was rather silly of me.
Which makes them the best.
WATCH THEIR HANDS
The five Houdini movies are just misdirection. While we're fussing over them, Hollywood will be discreetly sneaking away with all the good movie ideas and dumping them in the ocean.
Couldn't say why, but most of the times it's mentioned, at least a few people chime in just to dismiss it in superlatively negative terms, often along the lines that it's just not funny and Frost is terrible in it. Which I really just don't understand, since I find it pretty funny throughout, and extremely funny in…
Holy shit, does that ever not work. Before now, if I had ever happened upon a debate about whether certain voices are suitable or unsuitable to certain instruments, I would have had nothing to say.
Perhaps they're counting on the TV angle to generate more than normal initial interest in the game. Maybe it could work, since it kind of sounds enticing to me, and I don't even play much of anything online, let alone MMOs.
I look forward to that as well.
