Had a similar instance, but he punched me and threw me out of the car on the highway the North Side of St. Louis at 2am with no purse or phone. This was back when cell phones weren’t as prevalent. I was walking around the bleeding and dazed and had to trust a man in a mini van to take me to a payphone to call a friend.

I’ve been playing spades since I was about 8 years old lol. Replace spades with bid whist and it describes me.

Hey FAMU fam! And mine was sophomore year, lol. They played with Jokers AND 2s and I wasn’t aware of this version. They were locals though so: heathens.

I love Loyalty, and I can tolerate Love, but this DAMN album (especially Humble) made me realize how annoying K. Dot’s voice is to me. He’s got this whine that irks my nerves. That irk starts as SOON as Humble starts. He needs to calm down, lol.

Drake has the vocal range of a dial tone

That whole album, Vivian Green - A Love Story, told my whole life. It really spoke on the stages of my addiction to that man lol. And now I’m at “Keep On Going” and its the best feeling EVER!

I count the days/time I’ve been able to resist him like an recovering addict does kicking their habit. It’s two years this month, of an off and on “relationship” spanning over 20 years. And we were NEVER officially together. Thank you Monique. This has me in tears, but it’s because I’m proud of myself for kicking that

Baaaaaaaaby!!!! This is the single best thing I’ve seen today!!!! Scandal is going off, but Ms. Rhoda needs her own live Detective Show!

You’re right and I totally forgot about that part (I had wine glasses while watching).

Both. I remember the backlash that a lot of the local black women journalists got during Ferguson, most notably April Simpson and Tammy Holland. They were out there in the trenches and being attacked on social media daily... and neither of them work in the St. Louis area anymore.

I honestly didn’t take this show as intending to be a discussion or representation of polyamory. Even in the title, She’s Gotta Have It, I thought it was going to just be an exploration of a woman and her sexuality, not actual relationships, which is my interpretation of polyamory.

Many of the more dynamic young black women newscasters don’t last for long here. Stl is oppressive.

I’m officially old and I love it!

The amount of men in the comment section man’splaining our dick size preferences to us (or THEIR dick size preferences, because assholes and vaginas are set up the same way[/sarcasm]) is exhausting. Unsurprising, because men ALWAYS have to give their input, but exhausting nonetheless. At least there’s no slut shaming,

Oops, wrong article.

Murderous child molestors exist on and off the Internet. They are predatory by nature and use various methods of finding victims, one of which includes the Internet.

Right. And hell yeah, let them starve. They don’t give a shit if WE do.

Exactly.... not to mention the “joke” was intended to fly over the heads of the people who are the butt of the joke. There’s a tone of “they’re too stupid to get the joke” about all of this.

I think many of them do. St. Louis definitely has one.
