Excellent... but lets also talk about the subtleties in calling him a “kid”. Black male victims don’t get that treatment, even when they’re just teenagers. I clearly remember how much vitriol and hatred was spewed when people were calling Trayvon Martin and Mike Brown “kids.” This man is not a kid. He’s 23 years old.
