I’m a sucker for anything Weird Al related. But Doof may be a cheap attempt to bring back P&P magic, but the character is pretty funny.

The tension is this is a workplace comedy essentially, and as many workplace comedies work, the personal lives of the people are usually the focus. And I didn’t hear anywhere that said this was the “coolest ship”. Starfleet didn’t generally promote crappy captains.

I get that, but I would have like to have seen a “discount” buy option. Say, $20 to rent, $35 to buy (normally, you would look at $20 to buy). Not much different than what they will end up doing anyways I guess, but without the discount.
