Yes, but "Air Princess" and "Aether Princess" wouldn't have been very interesting.

I know its just a rumor, but I think that is a mistake. People want to move forward, not backwards (as testified by ST: Enterprise) and setting it between TOS/THG makes it hard for them to create their own history, by forcing them to adhere to a timeline that's already happened - which was the problem with ST:

I hope they incorporate the previous 5 series' history into it and not try to "start over", like the movies did. I like the movies, they have a different vibe, but there are hundreds of hours of Star Trek TV - a lot of it good ;) - from the TOS, STNG, DS9, Voyager and Enterprise to just dump it and pretend it never

Unless they aren't even sure themselves yet, I would agree that giving some details on the show now would be encouraging to the fans.

Yes, not really that much difference.

A horse rider I know says that all horses are kind of jerks. But some are jerkier than others.

I really liked the "messed me up" one.

"as she decides she would rather ride an imaginary horse that loves her than a real one that hates her and is just generally a pooping jerk"

I don't care much for Normal Man - Magic Man was a lot more fun in the show. Some characters are just better being evil.

Drugs can increase your metabolism, depending on what drug it is.

Shaggy was accurate because the dude was probably high all the time, so he was really thin.

Yeah, don't worry about jobs. The top US priorities in Congress should be Facebook and bathroom access.

The film is in violation. But that's not the issue. The issue is, should CBS/Paramount even give a shit - and risk bad publicity - is no one is making a profit over it. If anything, a film like this could get people fired up over ST again. CBS/Paramount seems to be fighting against their own best self interest. Or not

That visual for the new cartoon, with Snoopy wearing one boxing glove over his nose, diving at Lucy - I just laugh my ass off at that.

Not a quote but. . .

Lucy's "I'm going to pound you"

All of Snoopy's dances that celebrate certain things, like his "Be Kind to Animals Week" dance or his "Beginning of Spring" dance,

"You blockhead!"

Yep, that's what was so funny about it, it wasn't only sports stars and such that Snoopy was world famous at, it was surreal stuff too, like check out clerks you just mentioned.

Yep, Charlie Brown was Schulz reliving his experiences throughout his life, his religious upbringing, his military service, its all there. Schulz didn't need a biography, its all there in his strips.
